LeadingAgePA Annual Conference + EXPO

O’Keefe has produced LeadingAge PA’s Annual Conference at Hershey Lodge for many years. In 2020, we were excited to support the organization’s first-ever virtual experience. On an accelerated timeline, we worked together to adapt the most important elements of their program into a virtual format. Two general sessions featured custom graphics and animations to augment remarks from the President and CEO, Board Chair, Education Committee Chair, as well as the Distinguished Service Awards ceremony, pre-produced videos and two 60-minute keynote presentations. The closing session keynote was live streamed with real-time Q&A between attendees and the Pennsylvania Secretary of Heath. 

To keep the focus on the people who make up the association, and bring the community together despite the distance, we produced an opening video featuring stories from members across Pennsylvania. These “video diaries” recorded by staff in long-term care and senior living facilities were candid and potent reflections from the early months of the pandemic. Many in the virtual audience were moved to tears, watching the history of their common experience and shared perseverance unfold on screen. Watch the full video here:
